Dr. Haifaa Younis is an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is the founder and Chairman of Jannah Institute and currently teaches seminars on the thematic commentary of various chapters of the Holy Qur’an and their practical relevance in our day-to-day living.
Sh. Suleiman Hani
Imam Suleiman Hani is the Director of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute, a research scholar for Yaqeen Institute, a resident scholar at the Islamic Cultural Association, and an adjunct lecturer at the Islamic Center of Detroit.

Shaykh Suleiman Hani’s Topic: Prophet’s ﷺ Morals and Emotional Intelligence in developing and refining his companions and how we can derive lessons from it.
This topic will cover the session of the Seerah highlighting his ﷺ interpersonal skills that helped companions who needed moral and ethical guidance and how we can learn from those examples to apply in our daily lives today.

Dr. Haifaa Younis’s Topic: What are the glad tiding brought by Prophet ﷺ for Momineen?
This topic will cover the aspects of the Seerah where our beloved Prophet ﷺ used positive reinforcement, gave glad tidings and hopes during difficult times to his companions and raised their morale to motivate them to stay steadfast on siratal mustaqeem so they could build a moral and ethical community together.

About So Cal Seerah Conference
The Islamic Center of South Bay and the Islamic Center of Hawthorne have joined together to bring an annual event in So Cal to commemorate the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAW). By learning about the different aspects of his life, we seek to nurture his characteristics in our community so our congregants can carry the message of Islam in their daily interactions and be a force of good for our communities and our neighbors.
